In situ measurement instruments of LISA allow performing either direct physical or chemical measurements on the field or taking samples analyzed when back in the laboratory. These instruments can be deployed on the ground in dedicated measurement platforms or embedded in research aircrafts. Finally, some of these measures are carried out continuously throughout the year and thus are observation systems.
