LISA welcomes Prof. Spyros Pandis for the Lavoisier Lectures
From June 26 to 30, 2023, LISA welcomed Spyros Pandis, Professor at the University of Patras, as part of the Lavoisier Lectures organized by the UFR de Chimie de l'Université Paris Cité.
Professor Spyros Pandis is a world-renowned specialist whose research focuses on the study of multiphase atmospheric chemistry, with particular reference to photochemical "smog", the formation and properties of atmospheric particles, and their impact on climate change and human health.
During his stay, Prof. Spyros Pandis gave two well-attended seminars, entitled respectively "Atmospheric Nanoparticles, Air Quality and Climate Change" and "Back to the Future: Reducing Atmospheric Particulate Matter Levels to Improve Human Health". His visit also provided an opportunity for numerous exchanges with various members of the laboratory.
